1973...

.....in 1973 I was 19 years old. Julie and Lyla Offield and Sandy Bacal took me to meet two older women who lived in a full size tee pee. We drove to Coronado National Monument road towards Montezuma Pass and pulled to the side of the road and parked. We walked into a field and there it was. Photo courtesy of Lyla Offield

    I am very curious & interested about this. I am assuming native, and if anyone remembers what tribe they were from? You say older? Gee, all kinds of question pop into my head, and do not know if it is appropriate to even ask in comment that I post. This is really cool, were you able to spend any time with these 2 older women?
